Ceylon Selecta
A logo, a clear story and a website for a new travel business. One creative partner to help turn a set of possibilities into a confident first launch.

01 / Before the first design
Ceylon Selecta was starting from scratch. There was no existing website or identity to refresh; the business needed the foundations of its brand and a professional way to introduce its offering.
After approaching several agencies, the client felt overwhelmed by quotations beyond its budget and the choices ahead. A price alone had not given the team a clear way forward.
We began with a conversation about the business: what it wanted to offer, how that offering should be structured, and what needed to happen before the website design.
02 / Finding the direction
Ishar helped the team clarify its business focus and branding priorities. The discussion included company and domain names, the shape of the offering, and a website direction that supported it.
The original launch centred on travellers visiting Sri Lanka, with a business office presence in the UK, US and Australia. The website needed to bring the destination to life while making it easy to start a conversation with the team.
That shared direction gave the creative work a brief to follow: a new logo, content around the offering, selected videos, and a first company website.
03 / The connected scope
A new logo and brand direction to give the company a recognisable starting point, carried through into the website.
A company website and written content introducing Sri Lanka destinations, tours, tailored travel and events.
LFD created selected videos to support the travel presentation. The project combined those pieces with the wider website content; it did not involve creating every video on the site.
Routes to request a tailored itinerary, enquire about an event or submit a booking request. The Ceylon Selecta team then follows up to discuss the arrangements.
Delivered over approximately two to three months. This case study covers the original Sri Lanka-focused launch.
04 / Bringing it together
The new identity gave Ceylon Selecta a visual starting point. The website, writing and selected videos carried that direction into a place where potential customers could explore the offering and take the next step.
Having those pieces handled together helped the client move from uncertainty to a brand and website it felt proud of.

05 / From inspiration to a conversation
The website gives visitors routes to explore destinations and tours, request a tailored itinerary, ask about events, and submit a booking request.
A request is the beginning of a conversation. The Ceylon Selecta team follows up to understand the trip or event and arrange the details. The launch scope did not provide instant confirmed bookings or online payment.
That approach fits the personalised offering: visitors can express what they are interested in before the team works through the individual requirements.
06 / In the client’s words
I would like to commend Liquid Flame Design for their outstanding work in developing the Ceylon Selecta website (https://ceylonselecta.co.uk). Their creativity, professionalism, and original ideas effectively brought our vision to life. Special recognition goes to Ishar, whose innovative approach was instrumental in delivering an exceptional result that has received excellent feedback and strong interest in their services.
“I'm Sewandi from Ceylon Selecta, I would recommend LFD for their professionalism and creativity.”
07 / The result
Over approximately two to three months, LFD helped bring a new company’s logo, content, selected videos and website together. The result was a Sri Lanka-focused travel presence with clear ways for prospective customers to begin an enquiry.
Ceylon Selecta has since begun testing interest in additional destinations offline. Those newer destinations have not yet been added to the website and are outside the launch work described here.
For us, the value of this project began before the website: helping the client understand what it needed, set priorities and make confident decisions along the way.
